The ensemble rehearses and performs music by Classical composers, ranging from Handel and Bach to Holst and Britten. Its repertoire also includes film music, jazz, Celtic fiddling and popular music. CLICK TO EXPAND INFORMATION...

To be eligible, students must be proficient on their instrument and be able to read music easily. In addition to strings, the group will also include select wind instruments and serious student wind players should call to arrange for an audition. Adult amateurs are encouraged to participate!

clayART: Beginning Wheel Throwing
8 weeks sessions

Students will explore form and surface in a demonstration-based atmosphere while learning to wedge, center, and throw basic forms such as mugs, bowls, and vases.This class is a must for the novices as it will focus on CLICK TO EXPAND INFORMATION...

clayART: Ceramic Sampler
8 week sessions

Can’t decide between wheel throwing or handbuilding classes? Try the Ceramic Sampler where you get to try both!  This class is perfect for beginners. Students will make a different project while learning a new technique each week.  Wheel throwing, a range of handbuilding techniques, and glazing are all covered during this fun, intensive class.

Traditional techniques, such as underpainting and glazing, provide a foundation for further exploration in a wide variety of painting styles through group and individual instruction. Intermediate and experienced painters are also welcome. Register for one or two days per week—your choice!
